Ribeirão Preto celebra Dia da Árvore com corrida e plantio de ipês

Evento reúne esporte, natureza e lazer, em sintonia com o projeto Requalifica, que busca devolver vitalidade, verde e novos usos ao centro da cidade.
No próximo domingo 21 de setembro Ribeirão Preto vai comemorar o Dia da Árvore com um evento especial que combina corrida, plantio de árvores e muita diversão ao ar livre. A programação começa às 7h30 com o Desafio Villa Toscana Trekking and Run no trajeto entre Ribeirão e Cravinhos.
A prova de 7 km reúne cerca de 600 corredores e passa por áreas de mata nativa que abrigarão o futuro Parque Pôr do Sol. Durante a manhã serão plantadas 50 mudas de ipês doadas pelo viveiro da APAE Batatais em ação que envolve atletas e comunidade local.
Quem não participou da corrida ainda poderá aproveitar atrações como música ao vivo, food trucks, estacionamento gratuito e estrutura de segurança.A iniciativa busca unir consciência ambiental, prática esportiva e lazer em um só dia.
