Ribeirão Preto volta a brilhar na Copinha em 2026

Cidade recebe de volta a maior competição de futebol júnior do país após sete anos
Depois de sete anos, Ribeirão Preto retorna ao mapa da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. O anúncio oficial foi feito na última terça-feira (25) durante a cerimônia de lançamento do torneio, em São Paulo, pela Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF).
A volta da cidade ao calendário da competição é fruto de um esforço conjunto. Em setembro, o prefeito Ricardo Silva e o secretário de Esportes, Matheus Silva, se reuniram com o presidente da FPF, Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, para formalizar o interesse do município.
O Comercial, representante local, já sabe quem terá pela frente na primeira fase. No Grupo 10, o Leão encara América-MG, Noroeste de Bauru e Atlético-PI.
A edição de 2026 começa em 2 de janeiro e reunirá 128 equipes de todo o país, com a final marcada para 25 de janeiro, coincidindo com o aniversário de São Paulo. Ribeirão está pronta para receber os jovens talentos e torcedores, revivendo a tradição de grandes jogos e emoções da Copinha.
