'Meu Pet' trará atendimentos gratuitos em Ribeirão

Unidade terá consultas, cirurgias e exames para cães e gatos sem custo à população
Ribeirão Preto se prepara para inaugurar a clínica veterinária pública do programa Meu Pet, que vai oferecer atendimento gratuito a cães e gatos. A estrutura, entregue pelo Governo de São Paulo à prefeitura, contará com equipamentos de ponta e equipe especializada para atender casos clínicos, cirúrgicos e de urgência.
O espaço terá capacidade para até 40 atendimentos por dia, com consultas, castrações, exames laboratoriais e de imagem, além de cirurgias e atendimentos emergenciais. O objetivo é garantir acesso universal à saúde animal, especialmente para famílias de baixa renda.
A nova clínica integra a rede estadual de bem-estar animal, que vem se expandindo no interior. Na região de Ribeirão Preto, o programa Meu Pet já conta com unidades menores, os chamados pet contêineres, em cidades como Monte Alto, Serrana, Brodowski, Barrinha e Santa Rosa de Viterbo.
