INPC sobe 0,03% em outubro e acumula 4,49% em 12 meses

Conta de luz mais barata ajuda a conter índice usado em reajustes salariais
A inflação medida pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor (INPC) registrou variação de 0,03% em outubro, abaixo dos 0,52% de setembro, segundo o IBGE. Com o resultado, o índice acumula alta de 4,49% em 12 meses, frente aos 5,1% do período anterior.
A principal contribuição para a desaceleração veio do grupo habitação, que caiu 0,32%, influenciado pela redução na bandeira tarifária de energia elétrica. A mudança do patamar vermelho 2 para o 1 diminuiu o valor adicional cobrado na conta de luz.
Enquanto os produtos alimentícios ficaram estáveis, os não alimentícios tiveram alta leve, de 0,04%. O INPC é usado como referência para reajustes de salários e benefícios, como o salário mínimo e o teto do INSS. Já o IPCA, considerado a inflação oficial, subiu 0,09% em outubro e acumula 4,68% em 12 meses.
