Alerta de Tempestade com Granizo é emitida para Ribeirão Preto

Aviso do Inmet vale até 21h desta segunda-feira (28) e inclui risco de ventos fortes e cortes de energia
O Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) emitiu um alerta de perigo potencial para tempestade com queda de granizo em diversas cidades do interior de São Paulo, incluindo Ribeirão Preto. O aviso teve início às 3h da manhã desta segunda-feira (28) e segue até as 21h, em decorrência do avanço de uma frente fria pela região.
Segundo o comunicado, a previsão aponta chuvas entre 20 mm/h e 30 mm/h, podendo chegar a 50 mm ao longo do dia. Os ventos intensos devem variar entre 40 km/h e 60 km/h, e há possibilidade de granizo em alguns pontos.
Apesar de ser o primeiro nível numa escala de três, o alerta ainda contempla baixo risco de cortes de energia elétrica, danos em plantações, quedas de galhos de árvores e alagamentos.
